Environmental costs of hydrological roads in Nature Sustainability.

Cristian Vargas and colleagues from the Universidad de Concepción, Universidad de Chile, Universidad del Desarrollo, and Universidad del BioBío have published in Nature Sustainability the analysis entitled “The environmental costs of water transfers”.

This analysis recommends that in the design of projects to face the water crisis, a more global analysis be carried out, integrating the demand for water supply with the health of freshwater and marine ecosystems.
